President, Part-time; Badass, Full-Time

Here are few little known trivial facts about some of America's presidents....some of these are funny and some are graphic!

Andrew Jackson
Most Badass Quote:
"I have only two regrets: I didn't shoot Henry Clay and I didn't hang John C. Calhoun."

That's right. In a life rich with murdering people for little-to-no reason, Jackson's only regret was that he didn't kill quite enough people. People like Calhoun who, it should be noted, was Jackson's vice president.

John F Kennedy

Most Badass Quote:
"Jack could be shameless in his sexuality, simply pull girls' dresses up and so forth. He would corner them at White House dinner parties and ask them to step into the next room away from the noise, where they could hold a 'serious discussion.'"

That quote comes from Kennedy's closest friend, Lem Billings. For proof that you will never be as badass and pimpsational as Kennedy, go ahead and try that "Hey baby, let's go have a serious discussion" line on any girl and then come back and tell us how much sex you didn't have.

John Quincy Adams

"The art of making love, muffled up in furs, in the open air, with the thermometer at Zero, is a Yankee invention."

It's not too clear, but it sounds like Adams genuinely believed Americans invented having sex outside, a discovery he no-doubt believed he himself pioneered.

George Washington

After another tough battle where Washington was miraculously not wounded, he wrote a letter to his brother detailing his experiences. He described being surrounded by bullets and death and concluded by saying "I heard the bullets whistle and, believe me, there is something charming to the sound of bullets." When he caught news of this, King George III reportedly remarked that Washington's attitude would change if he'd heard a few more. But King George III didn't win the war, so fuck him.

Theodore Roosevelt

Most Badass Quote:
This quote actually comes from a fellow politician at the time of Roosevelt's death: "Death had to take him sleeping, for if Roosevelt had been awake there would have been a fight." We have no witty commentary for that. That is just straight up badass.

Singapore Superhero: Batman Bin Suparman

This is just funny! Americans are not the only superhero crazed folks, as it turns out!

You should never judge a book by its cover, but what if that book turned out to be a comic? Batman Bin Suparman might not be a joke, but his name sure is.

In Singapore, English is the most widely used language and all names are translated or converted to English when their Birth Certificate is issued.

On May 13, 1990, this young man was blessed with being named after two superheroes: Batman and Superman.

Unfortunately we were unable to find the boy for comment, as no one seems to know his alter egos…

Try Your Best....

"Israel has the right to defend itself" I wish I had a dime every time I heard a head of State, diplomat a politician, or a Member of Congress utter these words. I probably would have enough money to buy to buy a Cold Stone Treat for two.

Jokes aside, those words are always used to help Israel get away with Murder and destruction. It is like when things are clear and Israel has violated international and humanitarian laws, it is then when you hear those words "Israel has the right to defend itself". For average person unfamiliar with the complexity of the situation in the Middle East, this sound rather and honest and an assuring statement! But for people familiar with the conflict, this sounds insulting.

"Israel has the right to defend itself" sure against stateless terrorists. How about the terrorist who operate on behalf of a state? There are plenty of them, just ask the European nations who ban most Israeli generals from their entering their countries.

"Israel has the right to defend itself" At least to me, it sounds like saying "the mugger has to defend himself against the paper spray" no one would defend the mugger or would they?

"Israel has the right to defend itself" sounds like a man who raped an exotic dancer and then turned to say, she provoked me, she asked for it. Was the dancer provoking the guy, some see the revealing outfits she is wearing and say YES! (I disagree) Was the criminal able to ignore the dancer? Maybe not. Does the dancer in this example deserve to be violated? NO and NO. "You do not say the rapist has the right to defend himself or do you?"

In the same way, Israel might not be able to ignore rocket launchers in Gaza, but you punish them, not punish and only them, not punish all of the population. So the next time I hear a public figure say "Israel has the right to defend itself" I would ask them if they would defend rapists and criminals because they were "provoked" to commit the violation.

Where the law of proportionality goes? After all you do not bring an AK to a knife fight, or do you?

Is it My English or Your Lack of It?

Here are some more pictures about this English language, mainly they are about signs and stupid writing. Some of them are like "whatever", however, I find most of them funny because of the misspellings all over them...I was unable to tell if they are writing be someone like me who speaks English as a second language or some person who speaks it, but not necessarily write it? Can you tell which one is my favorite?

Those Are Not These

Bear with me for a second,

In a protest last week, angry Tibetans protesting the Chinese influence burn a mosque.
Two months ago, upset with the U.S. position on Kosovo; the Serbs, attack and burn the US embassy.
Angry mobs in India attack and burn mosques in India.
Couples of years ago, the Taliban demolish two Buddha statuses in Afghanistan.

All of these are sad and unfortunate events that does not further the debate and only make matters worse.

However, I am baffled by how little attention some stories get and much attention is given to other similar incidents.

It was crazy Serbs who burned an American embassy. Now if these guys were Muslims "like the ones attacked the Danish embassy in light of the cartoons shenanigan" all your talking heads will point fingers and say "Islamo-facists" are doing this evil work. Not once did I hear someone say those Christian Serbs burned the American embassy, or am I wrong?

Now had it been a Muslim attacked a place of worship (I am sure it has happened) it would be as of all Muslims are approving this shameful act.

My point is that burning and attacking safe places is evil at all times and should be inexcusable. However, it seems to me that Muslims get a bad rep for any wrongful act, and it is much easier to blame a Muslim than to blame others for committing the same offense. In the same way that a Mormons cannot escape the polygamy accusations, a Muslim will always be branded as hostile until he/she proves otherwise.

I have always said that they are stupid people out there, many of whom subscribe to my faith, but I truly believe that when one group is targeted, we all are diminished.
