He was selfless in that act so that people be forgiven if they repent. so in Christina, Christ died to make our life easier...and this took place in Palestine. Well, as Christines we know the Israelians killed Jesus and they are killing the Palestinians too but in a different way. "WHY", the Israelians are "CRUEL" and "SELFISH", they killed Jesus and they are not hesistateing to kill the their relatives the Palestinians.
